What is it?
Designed by David Thomas in 1977, built by Hunter Boats and selected that year by the Offshore One-Design Conference as one of their three Offshore One-Designs, the Hunter Impala OOD (aka Impala 28) is surely one of the finest and most successful small cruiser-racers of all time and still an eligible IRC one-design.
The object of the Impala 28 Class Association is 'to promote and further develop the interests of the Impala class.'
You can download a membership form from the Membership page of our Contact section.
